Is it possible to remove these and re-use them.... I am replacing my fork bottoms with some brand new ones I got for a steal off ebay. If careful.. can they be re-used???
Cheers
Stuart
PS when done my old one will be for sale for a nominal fee.... I reckon we could circulate them around the forum....i.e. do em up put them on and sell on the old ones... again for a nominal fee.....Just a thought

I wouldn't; by the time you've levered them out, they will have distorted.
New fork sliders= New seals +fresh oil.
If a job's worth doing...........

Cheers Bailey,
I thought that would be the response... but as they are not "proper" forks , I thought I might get away with it.
Ah well... there goes another £30 odd quid.
Cheers

Try your local bearing supplier lip seals of that sort of size cost about £5 each
If you can't find them let me know the size (will be marked on the old seal) and I will have a look.
I buy about £100 worth of lip seals a month so have a few good contacts.
