Bonjour mes amis

Post by gismo »

Hi Folks
I've just joined the site so I thought I'd take the opportunity to introduce myself.
I took early retirement and moved to France about 5 years ago.
I've had my R110s for nearly 6 years.
I used to ride about 9,000 miles a year in the UK but don't seem to get the time now, too many other distractions.

I love the bike. I've had various other BM's apart from many jap plastic rockets such as the Kwak ZX6r and Honda Fireblade.
The R1100s is now my favorite, it's the longest I've ever kept a bike and I've had 2 of them now, previously unheard of, normally I wouldn't go back to a modelI've had before.
If you're not living on the edge then you're taking up too much space

Welcome to the site and enjoy your stay.

Which area of France do you live in?

Hiya gismo Im landing in Dunquerque on Sunday on my way through to the Fatherland, sadly not on the bike, but the plan is to do a bit of Boxer shopping in Germany, lots of nice goodies hopefully to bring back, welcome to the forum.

Salut Gismo,
Welcome to the forum. We are fellow Trixters who recently re-located to France (Bretagne). Drop us a line, perhaps we could arrange a ride-out sometime? :)

Cheers, Rob'n'Gail
