Technoflex menders

Anyone reccomend a purveyor of services a la fixy and service my buggered (and empty of any damping fluid whatsoever) Texhnoflex shockers?

And.... on the front shock, there is a rubber gaiter/washer/plug both above and below the top mounting through the frame. This rubber washer is say 4-5 cm accross. A standard BMW front shock has a nice big flat mateing surface with this washer. The Technoflex one I have does NOT have such a big mateing surface - more of a 19mm bolt sized surface - and hence puts more pressure on the washer and in the case of mine, mashes it to a pulp and destroys it. Does anyone know whether the technoflex shocks should come with a special bespoke washer for the front?

Jason,

It might be worth giving MC Technics in Stowmarket a call.

I had the same issue with the washer for the front shock absorber and ended up having to source one since it did not come with the shock.

Cheers,

Paul

Ditto MC techincs. Darren is the man to speak to.
Can't you find a large thicker washer Jason? Or get something machined for flumpence!
Bailey.

Cheers Boys - I'll give them a call.

Mr B - re the Big F'Off washer - I did in fact find a 50mm washer with a 10mm hole in B&Q, and it is currently spreading the load over aformentioned mullered rubber washer. The only thing is - I think the force of the top of the technoflex shock will bend the washer as it still only has a small contact area - I could put a few of them together but then I'd end up raising the front

I presume the correct accompanying washer/rubber has a mold to fit the top of the shock.

Know what you mean. A bit of a cheap crappy design really!
