Charcoal canister, which is part of the bike's emissions system ie so the bike will meet California's strict regulations.

It's gotta be for show - how can those weedy input / output pipes make any difference to the volume of exhaust gases emitted.

I reckon Grom's got it all wrong and it's for the tiny 'ickle tinny's of p#sswater beer the Yanks drink and then smash against their heads
