Dear all,

Just fitted my Baglux tank protector so here's a quick run down;

Cost £81 - Bit steep in my opinion. Should be about £60.
Protection - Very good, will stop all the scratching on the back of the tank and where my knees are.
Fitting - Very good actually. Better than I expexted. Only took ten minutes to fit, with very little straining and pulling. Supposedly will mould better to the shape of the bike after a couple of weeks. Having seen other people bikes I think that this is true.
Colour - Not an exact match. As close as I could get, but okay. My bike is Pheonix Grey, not a common colour to match to I guess. I went for the anthracite.
Haven't got a bag for it yet. I was only planning to get a map case. Enough for a map and my mobile.

Overall - 7.5 out of 10 - Time will tell.

It might stop the scratching where you knees rub but careful that you don't leave it on indefinitely and let grot get between the baglux and the panels. 100 grit, here we go.

I'll 2nd that - keep it clean else it'll scuff bigtime otherwise. Mine has gone through the paint at the two points where the little hooks a the front go - ugly but useful (like myself)
