Air filter box crud

Post by timbox2 »

Took one of the blanking plugs off the box near the throttle valve and a load of what can only be described as Arse Pi.. came flowing out, is it something one has to do as normal servicing??

PS, Only in the right hand one funnily hardly a dribble in the left.

It's just the water that gets drawn into the airbox and crankcase breather oil/mist that collects. Prob needs emptying about every 6 months of normal use.

I took both stoppers off mine and replaced them with a single length of local homebrew shop clear siphoning tube joining the two.
Now I can see when its filling and just pull one end off to drain both.

'Hinterachsge' translates as 'rear axle'.(Not 'Differential', so f*** off)
