Has anyone here tried the new pilot road 2 tires yet?

I have only been getting about 6 or 7K miles out of the pilot road before they are toast.

The little woman keeps saying how many sets of tires are going to go thru this summer? I'm working on set #3!

2's are not yet available in the USA. :(

Yeah, they're great. Spooning my second set on tonight. It's at 9,000km and there is still a little left, but I am going to play in the Alps next week so I need new.

I've got them on my R-1, but still have to gain the same confidence that I had on the original fitment Dunlops (lasted 2,000 miles :( )

How many more miles are you expecting out of a tyre? 7K +

Got them from Strathearn Tyres in Creiff for £200 fitted :thumbright:

With the M3, I expect about 2000 miles. I definately never had a tire last for 6,000 miles in my life and I was shocked (in a pleasant way) to see these make that mileage. Without a single slide dry or wet. I am very impressed with these. But the R11S doesn't have 180 horsies like the R1.

Sorry - I was asking Bill..............

I think I got around the 2k mark from the M1s on the BCR - Will be changing them to Pilot Road 2s next week. :D

I run e'm on both my SM Tiger and my S,if i had a complaint, can be interesting if you hit cats eyes in the road when it's wet,but they have certainley raised the bar for road tyres.
