L.E.D rear end woes

Post by Twodogs »

Hi all,
does anyone know where i can get an L.E.D rear light (not the round rose type) for an 11s. I got one off fleabay that comes with a rose type "bulb" thats giving me no end of grief. Because the LED bulb is much heavier than a regular bulb and its unsupported,it bounces about while on the move and breaks conntact in the light fitting which then brings up the ABS warning light (a resistor is fitted). I've put some blu-tak under the rose part of the bulb to give support and that cured the problem for a couple of days but now the problem is back. The LED's are much brighter then a regular bulb and thats why i'd like to keep them. I did see a LED back light for a 11s that had what looked like a printed circuit board full of LED's instead of a bulb and in hind sight that would seem a better idea than the item i've got. The problem is i saw this "printed circuit board" type on fleabay so i have no idea where it came from. I've looked on motorworks but they don't list one for the 11s,can any Trixters point me in the right direction? :(
