Hi all,

When I am driving along at say +- 120km p/h and I accelarate fully in 6th gear I hear a rattle on the right side of my bike, probably from either the shaft or gearbox. This does not happen every time I accellarate hard, only once every three times.

Does anyone have an idea what this might be? My R1100S is a 2002 model with 18900km's on the clock.

Do you still have the cat on your bike?
If so it could be that thats rattling,especially at a certain resonance.
Give it a couple of twats with your hand to see if it rattles.

Yes, the cat is still there. I will give it a feel as soon as I get home, thanks for the tip! Had a wonderfull run this week-end, with hardly no noise, so maybe its just my imagenation...
