Req some Silver Engine paint

Can anyone recommend some silver engine paint, my otherwise mint 2004 boxercup has developed a bit of a rash on the gearbox

, this despite lashings of WD and FS365 over the last 3 years. Had a look at halfords and there are loads of shades of silver.

Keith,the bm stealers used to supply a touch up paint for our bikes but iv'e been told they no longer do it tho it's worth a call if theyv'e got any hiding at the back of the shelf,apart from that i'm sure someone here will point you in the right direction,good luck!

Hi ruffy,
Its because of the EU and the oil based paint ban, tried my dealers and they cant sell me any. Will try Motorworks, they managed to get me some for the blue on my front wheel. Its only a small area, so a stick would do, but every time I get the bike out it jumps out at me.

I read somewhere that halfords "bmw arctic silver" is a pretty good match, I have a can of it, but haven't used it yet.

Don't feel to bad boys,mine hasn't seen a winters day in it's life,and still the paint is coming off,and yes i got the same reply from the dealer.
