BoxerCup Replika on A34 last Friday?

Passed a group heading for the south coast down the A34 south of Oxford last Thursday (29th?) including a rider/pillion on a Mk 2 BCR (think the rider may have had a 2nd series Hayden Rep Arai on?
I was on my BCR with panniers and tankbag, with a pal on a Daytona 650, heading for the Portsmouth Le Havre ferry.
Anyone on this site?
Also saw a Mk 1 BCR getting on a different ferry that evening (who said they were rare??)
