My 2003 Boxer Cup is bugging me!

I have a flat spot when opening the throttle, realise it could be a multitude of things

I have balanced the throttle bodies (they were spot on anyway), found the fuel pump plug connector to be slightly coroded at the pins, now clean and packed with grease

Disconnected the lambda sensor (Y piece fitted with laser cans.

I have the white cat code plug fitted, i have tried it without and its worse.

Just been for a thrash round Buxton (very wet in places) and she goes well but its as if i have to get her through a flat spot first

I am running best quality fuel now and the plugs look spot on, one cylinder perfect, one cylinder very very slightly lean

checked the throttle cables are seated

anyone have a suggestion for the next step?

12k service done by myself only 500 miles ago

anyone know a decent tuner or specialist in the Stafford area?

I am contemplating buying a cat off fleabay to try it in standard trim

Are you running a chip for your setup? If not, you may want to shoot an email to Robert Foster (robert@fosterrad.com). I have a chip he made, and it runs sooo well. No flat spots, very fast revving. Love it.

I paid $210 for mine, which was specifically designed for my setup (Staintune + K&N)

Much less expensive than common chips here in EU, and more better setup for my bike than the more generic chips.
