Very similar to one I saw on the IOM this year but with a twin headlamp fairing.

That's a rare one. Rumour is that Nico Bakker was involved in the R1100S pre-development: just to see how a boxer sports bike would perform. He did deliver at least one frame for this purpose to BMW.

As you might have noticed it's based on a R1100RS.

ooooooooh, didn't look as far as the 'thread' bike.....I wanna the Le Mans even if it is well used!!!
