The first was that little Ronny Corbet was occasionally prone to selling kit out the back door for cash - which he then trousered. Also pocketing the cash deposits put down for new bikes.
The second was that having owned the site, he went and lost it in a card game to one of the owners of Infinity Motorcycles. He then had to leaseback the SPC site back from this new owner further draining the cash out of the business.
of course its all just gossip. allegedly. ahem.
