Grease

Post by crucial »

Does anyone know what the equivalents of Optimoly MP3 paste (clutch splines) and Staburags NBU 30 PTM (shaft splines) are?

Can i just use Moly. grease?

Cheers

Paul.

Paul,

Back to your original question.
Ask the guy at Motorworks if the stuff they sell is the same as the BMW manual says you need. You then have the option of getting it from them or sourcing it locally.

Here's a data sheet for the Staburags stuff.

Motorworks do an Optimoly but only one of the two. I think its the Optimoly TA.
