How do I adjust the angle of my gear change lever as I want to angle it down a bit more. On the old jap bikes you loosen of the left and right hand bolts and spin the adjuster rod to change the angle but good old BM have got me a bit stumped...thanks.

Hi Andy,

It is the same priciple but you need to pop the little ball joints apart first.
There is a little spring clip / split pin jobby holding the ball joints in place.
Pry this little clip out, mind it doesn't ping off never to be found again, and then just pull the ball joint apart.

Adjust the length of your rod and put back together.
