I've put on the Zard exhaust. Nice piece of equipment. Fits perfecly well. Nice sound; deep tone. Job done within an hour.

Here's the result (compared with the standard can)

That looks really good....much better than I thought it would. The fit is great - it really suits the bike.

Sound is not much different on the video - maybe get the Remus headers on there for a real improvement.

Finally got the Zard fitted today and whilst I will agree with most of HJs comments mine did not fit perfectly, No matter what I tried it just would'nt hang straight under the seat unit and once the plate/light/indicater hanger was fitted it looked pretty poor. Gave up this morning and went in to work and reworked the mounting strap--Easy enough for me to do but should'nt really be required!!!! Probably should have complained and sent it back but all is well now.

You're sure you've got the right side up?

I do like the way BMW made the rods that hold the exhaust detachable (you did notice that, didn't you). I took them out completely, took off the original silencer, put the new silencer in place and shoved the rods back into place and tightened them. No fuzz. No need to manouvre, twist and turn the silencer as you had to with the ole one.

I'm not that stupid am I (please don't answer that!!!) Yes I was aware of the removable mounting pins, As you say much better than the 1100s system.

I just fitted mine last night...

This video does not do justice to the sound...sorry...NOISE that now errupts from the back of the bike.

I love the fact that the exhaust has the correct E stamping lazer etched into it and the packaging includes a copy of the UK type approval certificate. I'm gonna need to keep this certificate under my seat cos no copper is ever gonna believe that this is a legal exhaust but that's the EU for you.
Pics to follow...unless I work out how to do a little video thingy first...
