Insurance. Laughable

My renewal came on about march 20th, for the R1200s with added bits, plus a tdm900. £276
Bike gets stolen. 4 yrs protected NCB.
Another revised renewal comes just for TDM, £285
I phone up and explain that I eventually want to put another 1200s on and ask what price it will be? £437 for the pair. £150 quid extra, but yeh ok I'll take the TDM renewal and add the 12s later, when claim settled.

Sold tdm yesterday and todfay rang for quote to add r1200s.
THEY WONT, owing to my claim.
THEY WILL however, ad a gixxer 750 k4 with full maxton, yoshi, wavy disks etc. UNbelievable
So now Im unable to insure the bike that was sdtolen.
Got them onto it now, because as far as im concerned teh quote they gave me is binding, however maybe teh fact I sold teh tdm has affected it?
Getting more pissed off by the minute

Keep the tdm on cover, add the 1200s again, yes sir, 170 extra is that ok?
Yes say I and i will change teh trdm for another traily, but have sold it and no longer own it, is that ok? Yes say they

By the way if anyone wanst or knows of anyione who wants a totally mnt gixxer 750 k4 with full yoshi system, wavy disks, maxton forks work an maxton shock, plus original bits woith 3600 miles ish on it, let me know. £4750. Its not mine but it nearly was!

I thought motor quotes (Car & Bike) were valid for 28 days from the date of quotation also could this not be covered under the aspect of a verbal contract therefore it is binding?? If you really want to annoy the insurance company - most tape record the phone conversations for 'training purposes'. Ask them to playback the tape or to provide a copy of it to you to prove the quote was made. See what happens then!!!
