New Metzeler M1 rear fitted last Wednesday :D

Just scrubbed-in...and picked up an irrepairable puncture! Big screw went in about 1.5inches from the middle - made a right mess! That's £95 down the swanny!

:D That's so unlucky stoney seeing as you'd just scrubbed it in,wev'e got a tyre fitter here in leicester that would proably be able to fix that but of course that's no good to you up north is it,hope you get it sorted.

Stoney?

Ever thought about National Tyres in Barnsley? Stuart there knows his tyres (I trust him with all mine! ).

I'm told that N.T do a replacement scheme - you pay a %age of the cost based on the amount of wear. I know that you CAN get cheaper elsewhere but maybe worth giving them a bell?

Cheers for the tips chaps.

I do sometimes go down to NT in Barnsley and they did repair my last puncture. Its a bit of a trek though and Woosters in Leeds are meant to be good too.

My missus is down In Barnsley next week, I'll keep the punctured tyre and get her to drop it off to Stu and see if he can repair it - these M1s are only lasting 2000 miles so I'll probably be able to use it as the front still looks good.
