Avatar help needed

I'm looking for some help, I want to use a picture as my avatar, but the pic's too big - so how do you make it smaller . . . . .(btw I'm no computer expert - but I guess you know that now :oops: )

I had the same trouble not too long ago, Ro Loo kindly helped me out with an avatar sizer using the following link, it worked for me:

Thanks for that! - reduced the pic to small size, but think there is to much "detail" in the pic as it's still 13kb. will take another pic

If you upload the picture to photobucket there is a funtion on there to resize to avatar size. Hope this helps.
