Hello all, I'm new on here - (obviously). Bought my first BMW bike from e-Bay over Christmas without so much as ever sitting on one, because I'm on my second BMW car & everyone I talk to says you'll never look back & yes you've guessed it I'm hooked. The bike is a 2004 '54 plate silver R1100s with 5300 miles, one owner, ABS, Heated grips, 5 1/2" rear wheel, panniers, tank bag etc... it's probably the most comfortable bike I've ever ridden (20 stone & 6' 2"), the wife loves it & I've probably just sold my beloved CBR 600 F today that I vowed I would never sell - that's how impressed I am. I've just bought an Ilmberger rear hugger, next on the shopping list is a clear rear light to go with the indicator lenses & then a load of petrol. Regards Neil. (Chubbs)

Hi Ruffy, I actually bought it second hand from e-Bay, couldn't quite get to grips with the £150 price tag for a new one, but in time I'm sure I'll be getting more carbon stuff & spending lots of money. Neil.

After talking to a couple of pals who have been long time BMW bike fans it became clear that the Ilmberger item was the one to go for & so the hunt was on... then I got pointed to this site by a guy I met at Matlock after I won the auction on e-Bay - I will be doing my shopping on here in future. Anyone know if there is a clear rear light lense available? Regards Neil.

That'll be 'smog monster' (aka 'smoggie') actually.
