Hi Guys (& Girls)
Anyone got an update on the arrival of hard luggage for the 1200S? - my dealer thinks it should be next month (but he keeps saying that!) I'll be taken outside and shot if I don't get it before the 1st weekend away this year (end of march, bikesafe do @ Cheltenham)

Hi Ian ,
Mines on order but I was told that there are no fitting kits in the UK or Germany yet. Hope its not too long a wait. Panniers should be off the shelf as they are the same as K1200R / S and F800S / ST fitments.

I'm sure we could manage with a sport, sport, half sport bike  then leave the panniers at the hotel when we need to harrass 1098's out on the track

If it is anything like the availability of the carbon fibre, LED indicators, Gilles Rearsets and Galespeed wheels being offered as part of the HP Parts programme then............DO NOT HOLD YOUR BREATH!

IMHO the BMW accessory stand - NOT the workshop stand - is the best combination of quality and useability and value for money. It allows the wheel to rotate freely and has a positive stop to prevent the bike slipping off.

Oh - and you can use it on the K1200 S/R and GT

winger, you still forgot to mention the practical luggage rack...;-)
Who knows maybe the Ventura rack fits with the factory panniers when they finally find them...;-)
Until then, enjoy your true sports, sports, sportsbike before it becomes a more practical but lowly sports-tourer on the motorcycle food-chain for whatever unknown reason.Maybe "Fast Bikes" knows the answer to that one...;-)
Lloyd, you got that right, your second post...

Picked my Panniers and fitting kit up this afternoon so they are available now.
Hope to get round to fitting them at the weekend. Certainly going to have a fat arse if you expand them!!!
