Stick On Carbon Fibre Engine Guards

Bought a set of carbon fibre engine guard half covers but without the glue. Got them new for £45 pair instead of about £140 a pair. Before you ask, no they do not have anymore as it was the remains of Prestige in Bexleyheath closing down sale - see a recent thread by me.
Documentation states that it needs aircraft quality glue - any idea what I could use to stick it on with that I could get from the high street?

Try to find a two part epoxy. You wont get them off without ruining them.
3m makes a structural adhesive(aircraft) that works very good.

Bostik M890 was the glue that we used to use to stick battle damage patches onto the Harrier. It will even stick to a leaking fuel tank, and stay on at 400+ mph. Not sure if you can buy it in the shops though.

Without seeing what type they are it's diificult to tell, but the original carbon kevlar rocker cover protectors used on the first boxercup race bikes were siliconed on,and since then i've locked wired mine on.

Just rereading my post and I forgot to mention that the covers I have are from Wunderlich.
I beleive they are £70ish EACH but I got a pair for £45. Maybe it was the special aircraft glue pads that make up the other £95 !!
I will speak to one of the Wunderlich stockists to see what they have to say.
