SPC

Have just found out (not sure if this is old news?) that SPC will be re opening in January/February. It will be called (or the web site will be called?) Bahnstormer. It has been taken over by a distant relative of mine (and his business partner) who have both worked for years for BMW direct in management roles. Must be good news for all you folks down their!

Great does this mean you can swing copious discounts for Boxertrixsters!

That is good news Howard - might go down past there tomorrow morning on the way to work and see what it looks like.

From what I hear they are interviewing this week and next week for staff,so I would not expect anything to happen for a few weeks yet. I'll wait and see what happens when they open, then will see if I can negotiate any deals for Boxertrix?

Latest news!!

Had a word with one of the new Directors, they hope to have a grand opening on 10/11th March. This is the link to the new website which is not fully set up yet but has the bare bones and latest news on it.

http://www.bahnstormer.co.uk/main.asp

They have lots of old stock which they want to clear before the 19th, what it is they don't know yet as they have only just collected the keys. They will offer discounts & specials to Boxertrix when they get sorted. I just wish I lived nearer!!!

Interesting stuff. :) SPC are my "next to" nearest dealer so will be very interested in what they propose to do there.

Interested to see if they still have the R1200S I enquired about.

Rode past "SPC" yesterday and it seems to be progressing nicely ... seemed to be some sort of family fun day going on :D

Guess it was the new owners ... black R1200S in the window.

Anyone fancy a meet on opening day?

Hi Stephen,
It,s Alistair, who is related to my wife, If you mention my name (Howard from Chester) he will know who it is. The only number I have for him is his mobile and home number which (don't take it the wrong way!) I really don't think I should give out, however if you go to the Bahnstormer web site you should find a contact number on there.
cheers,
Howard
