already at £215 with 3 days to go, will the lucky winner pay more than the 275 motorworks would want for a new set?

I know...it must be the reflective tape added by the current owner
Ebay is mad sometimes. I was recently looking to buy a Bose Sound Dock for the wifes

IPOD (honest luv, it is yours) so checked out fleabay. Supposedly new ones were selling for for £220 plus £20ish postage & packing. No guarantee no matter what the add says (unless its a recognised dealer) and very little redress if its no good (oooohhhh bad feedback).
In the end went to a Bose dealer and bought one for £249 (RRP - no discounts available) with full 2 year warrantyand piece of mind. Well worth the extra £9.
As to whether the sound is good enough to warrant the price? that is a different question

As someone who parks the bike occasionally in town centres when touring, I find them useful as secure storage - recent trips have involved changing into walking-about-friendly-gear and stashing bike gear in panniers.
Wandering around anywhere in boots, leather pants carrying a bulky jacket, lid, gloves etc. in 30 degrees is not a lot of fun in my experience. Try folding an all weather jacket into a small backpack.

Part of what we carry are two large rucksacks, that fold down to now't,but leaving anything on a bike in my book ain't secure,if we park up somewhere, if were on the road so to speak,we never leave anything on the bike that we can't afford to have stolen.
Hence, things like all weather jackets have their lineings taken out before we go on holiday and we wear a fleece instead as an extra option,we both use Daytona Winner boots for summer trips their easier to walk in,and if we stop somwhere we like, book into a hotel, stay a day,get changed and start walking!!!,but if were desperate jackets leathers and boots go in the rucksacks and we carry our helmets.
