Importing my Boxer back to the UK

Has anyone out there imported a bike back to the UK from the EEC? (used not new). Been on the DVLA website and got some stuff off there but am inerested in any advice, particularly the mutual recognition scheme and how and where I get a Commision Notice Letter or an original European Certificate of Conformity from?

My employment contract expires mid year so Im looking to ride the bike back in May/June/July time and it looks like it may take that long to get the import paperwork together!! :?

Plus if anybody has a speedo that reads MPH.................................... :)

Certificate of conformity you can get from the UK importer. The other document is one you have to ask for (and make sure you get it) from the dealer, but as you probably already have the bike I don't know.
