I've always found that you should have the indicator on when attempting a 300kmh record

8) Seems to nip along quite smartly - although the scary thing is it's probably a fair bit slower than a ZZR14 (but a lot prettier though) ;)

On the third video - check out the turbo'd R1. Strewth!

Grom, theres not a huge difference betwen any of the big bike sof that ilk. The busa, blackbird, even k1200s all pull similarly, although the bbird only really starts to go well after about 7k standard. Mine did only 60bhp at 6 k standard because of the huge dip for emissions, and 137 at rear wheel, but with just teh addition of cans and dyno / filter etc, 90bhp at 6k and 152 at wheel
The busa i had up til last year "only had 160 at the wheel.

The thing is with these longer wheelbased bike is that you can get teh power down a lot easier without all the head shaking on the short sports bikes. Th R1 behaved like a loon with less power than the bbird.

Good luck with it mate.

Cheers PB - the bike may need new C&S's some time this year, in which case I'll be taking a tooth or 2 off the front. It'll also definitely be paying a visit to Elvington - so that's Sept's Boxer/Birdbollox w/e sorted :D

Can I comer play at elvington hehe
The pipes made such a difference. Mine was a carb model too.
You wont believe it but the best price i got on a chain and sprocks kit was the local Honda dealer!! 155 fitted and lasted another 15k miles. like teh first lot did

I didn't see the 'Video',... (snail-dial-up),.. but if your dragging the bike,.. maybe add additional teeth to the rear cog rather than reducing from the front to achieve the required ratio,... makes the chain last a whole lot longer, .. that's a courier talking lol

You go away for a couple of days and Gromit is involved in a new bike shocker. I thought you had taken the plunge for a black R1200S initially.

Nice one - but weren't you trying to slow down after your tug a couple of years ago? :D

I'm celebrating my license being completely clean again....for a little while. :D

I'll be trying out the 'Bird over the next couple of months at the end of which I'll decide which to sell.

After a few buttock clenching moments on the super powerful BB I'm sure he'll realise the sensible option......maybe

Crikes! I watched the video and when the writing saying "The End" came up at the end - I thought "Yeh, it soon will be if he carries on like that". :D
