Pipe heat
I'm really new to this B< stuff so excude the dumb question.
I have a Lazer system fited to the bike.
The left hand pipe warms fairly quickly, the right, stays stone cold.
The right is working, just doesn't seem to heat easily.
Is this normal?
I'm guessing its just the way the down pipes run into the LHS can first??

Have a look under the tail......... one can is straight through, the other has a T and an elbow on the upstream side.
It's a bit of a swiz - far better to fit a Staintunes.

(hang on.... are you talking about the header or the tailpipes?? I assumed cos you mentioned the make of exhaust that it was the tail. Surely it isn't running with only one cylinder firing??)

You say that you have not taken the bike out yet but I presume that you have been running the bike stationary. Be careful with this as the engine has no cooling system (it requires the air to cool it and the oil down) and you don't want to over heat it.
I did this when I got the bike and was sorting out the throttle balances and before I knew it I could hear the oil bubbling like mad. I did take a long time doing the balancing as I had not done it before. In the end I took it to a mechanic in Bromley and he showed and explained to me how to do it - only balance one side to match the other, don't balance both. Only took him a few minutes. BTW he put a massive fan in front of the bike to cool it down as it was still cooking!

No longer a motorcycle owner.

...I once had such a Laser cut in half ; and what looks from the outside as a T-pipe, is nothing more than...nothing...
...in the straight pipe (left side, if you look at it from above) these Laser guys had cut a tiny hole (and I mean a real TINY hole ; about 10 millimetre !!) for the right (again...; if you look at it from above) pipe and silencer...
...and because that hole is only this small ; most of the hot gas will leave through the left silencer...
...but after cutting away this T-section & 'some' welding it looked like this...(using both silencers now)

...different looks & sound...
