Bleeding brakes

Post by madman »

Due to do a brake fluid change on both bikes. Mine is no problem as is it a 04 model with with the later brakes. On Judes bike, W reg with earlier brakes, there is a strange bleed nipple in the right hand side. Can I change this for the "normal" nipple before I start? If I pop to the local BMW dealer and buy a left side nipple will this fit? Is there somewhere else that I should get the nipple from bearing in mind that it will require postage to France?

Please disregard the above question as a phone call to Motorworks has solved it. Also ordered nipples for the clutch bleed points, just have to find them now!

Isn't the clutch bleed nipple on the end of a short hose cable tied to a frame cross member behind the rear shock. At least thats what I think it is..
