torque wrench values

If Santa Claus brings me a torque wrench for Christmas which range of NM is best suited to the S, I don't plan on taking the wheels off myself....

Make sure it goes to at least 105NM cuz thats the setting for the back wheel bolts and a lot of e'm don't go that high.

Mine is the Norbar 8-46Nm.
Covers most of the jobs except wheel nuts and rear paralever bearings.
Suspect that the wider the range the less accurate it is.

Like Julian says, the lower the range then the more accurate they are, and like Chris says it depends what jobs you need it for. I have 2 to cover everything from the lowest I can think of which is of at about 7NM to the highest at about 130NM.

Accuracy is dependant on quality.

A good quality wrench IE Norbar,Britool or the like will be just as accurate at 5nm as at 150nm.

And dont forget when you have finished using it re set to zero
