Telelever bearings

We've recently read the exciting news that the ball joint nut works loose and causes a front end rattle. Anyone ever had one of these balljoints actually fail? And has anyone ever had any problems with the bearings at the frame end of the wishbone?

The front end looked in perfect alignment all the way through its flight.
gus
ps ball joint does work loose overtime.Remedy,chech on a regular basis like you do on all the other important nuts and bolts.

I replaced a ball joint on mine after I started getting handling problems similar to worn head race bearings. The transformation after it was replaced was night and day.

Remember to pull that side stand up before you pull away there Julian......the consequences could be expensive.
