Bailey.
Ditto that - inserted a plug in Malaysia, didn't spare the horses and changed the tyre in Spain
2002 Black GSA (for random fault analysis and for stealing all my weekends fixing the b'stard)
2000 Black R1100S (for remembering the good old times)
FWR in Oval put a 'proper' bung in for £25 including removing the wheel - I have had several of these last the life of the tyre
I've had the BMW fail (very quickly) but more due to attempting to plug a slit made by broken glass than a small screw hole which is the usual repair.
I've also ridden two up + luggage from Dublin to London with a slightly leaky one which was fine - just pumped up the tyre at every fuel stop
Reminds me, I need to get a new kit as my bungs have all perished - the last time I used them they kept disintegrating when I stuffed 'em in. So to speak. Someone mentioned tyre worms in a previous thread.
Essential kit for london riding and my bi-weekly kingston commute starts again next week...
I think I'll be going back to SLIME personally, once i sort a new rear. The BM kits are £25 or so each and last one puncture. SLIME is about £8 and lasts the life of the tyre.
