Hi
I've just bought a '99 1100S. the fixing thingummys for the rear seat cowl apparently were no good so the guy ditched them, so i need a replacement set.

Any help on where to order would be mucho appreciated......how much??

I'll second that, I got a pair from them, I believe there are two types, depending on early or later models. Cost me no more than £3-4 iirc

Don't bother with the early types. They were replaced because they are useless. Go for the latest type of bolt and in-seat socket.

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Sorry, I have no idea. All I can say is that they are off an 02 model.

go to a dealer and buy a complete replacement set - that's the screws and the sockets that fit into the seat, it only costs a few pounds. They are a direct replacement and will fit the early bikes. As everyone says; the early ones don't work properly.
