Jeez, that's mighty kind of you offering to buy us all a drink or eight, what with you being new here and all that! :)
On behalf of all the members, 'we accept'!

Welcome to the board Chris. Any details on the bike you are buying? Colour etc. What were you riding before?
Ciao, Neil.

hi
The bike is an S reg 1100s, in mandarin...ive not had a bike for a few years, and the last time i rode a beemer was when i was despatching about 8 years ago during a lean spell in the NHS when they weren't taking locums. Now i'm back on the books!

from the start of my biking career (1981).....bikes as follows (i think!)

yamaha fizzie

Honda 250 superdream (for despatching)

triumph tiger cub trials (rebuilt it meeself)

yamaha rd 250 (air cooled)

yam 350 LC

Honda CB 400/4 with seeley pipe, alloys and full race fairing

Honda CB900

triumph bonnie 750 cafe racer

norton commando 750

triton (in bits)

laverda montjuic 500 (a beast!) i want another one!

Honda cbr 600

kwacker zxr 750

i now live in eastbourne, but come from croydon originally, and me and my mates went to box hill every weekend, where the protocol was all the old/british, choppers, american stuff went to the top of the hill and everything else went to the bottom where rikas is. oh happy memories watching the cops on their BMW R80's trying to catch the superbikes going down the mad mile!!

A nice selection of bikes there Chris!
I saw a super dream with very low milage on ebay recently. I was a little tempted!
There should be some Trixters around your area giving you a shout soon ................................ ish! I hope you enjoy the 1100S.

Just got back from Taunton after an overnight stay in southampton, really love the bike!!

I paid £3000 for a '99 S with 37k, so nicely run in....really impressed with the power and handling, and now i've got a week's annual leave to enjoy the sunshine!

dont bother with a superdream , i remember it being a complete dog!...ok for despatching but not a lot else!!
