Just bought a Wunderlich centre stand thingy wotsit as I am fitting a Y piece. However, the adjustable rubber screw seems to be too long as it is resting against the centre stand leg when the thingy wosit is clamped on. This then means that the centre stand is not retracted enough. Do you have to cut down the screw on the rubber mount? I know it is adjustable but there is too much screw on it. I can't see any other way of doing it so thought I would ask first.
Also, is it best to Loctite the rubber screw and adjuster nut?
(Hope I am making sense).

Re: Wunderlich Centre Stand Bracket
I've only seen one, not used one... but are there 2 nuts on the thread? Maybe they should both be on the 'back' inside the bracket with one acting as a lock nut? you fit the bracket to the leg of the stand and it butts up against the piece of frame that the cat box slotted into just below the front fixing for the torque arm. hope this helps.

Thanks for that. However, when doing this this is the point where the centre stand is much lower to the ground than what it should be. I currently have the CAT on so I am comparing the up position of the centre stand with the Wunderlich attached to that of when it is not attached and would stop against the CAT. I think that if I were to cut part of the rubber stop screw off then it might give me that extra clearance that I need because I think it is the excess screw that is stopping the bracket from fully clamping onto the centre stand leg. I wanted to check things out first otherwise it could be £26 down the drain.
