I think I have now got all the money in for the sponsored Mass meet up,and would like to have a proper presentation to Macmillan Cancer Research. The event would take place at The Coors Visitor Centre,Burton on Trent , on either Saturday 15th July or Saturday 22nd July. I would like as many of you as possible to attend, and obviously if any of you want to stay overnight,a visit to Wing Wah could be arranged. Please let me know which date you prefer, and I will make arrangements.

Weekend of the 22nd would suit me best. What was the final grand total on the sponsorship and is it too late to chip in an extra contribution?

Paul,
I think the total at the moment is £1080, any further donations would be gratefully received. I think weekend of the 22nd is looking favourite,I will check with The Macmillan people & the Coors Visitor Centre before making it definite.

Reg,

I'll happily chip in the extra £20 to make it a rather appropriate £1100 cheque from us happy R1100S riders.

Cheers,

Paul

OK everyone I have provisionally booked the Coors Visitor Centre for Sat. 22nd July 15:00hrs . It will be a fairly informal event, but it would be nice to get as many of you as possible there, especially those with these new bikes we keep hearing about. They will look good on the photos.(The bikes, that is ) Anyone staying overnight needing help with hotels etc, just let me know. Kathy ,the Macmillan lady,is on holiday until 4th July but I am sure that date will be OK.

Paul/Reg,
Alan and I may well stay over. (providing Alan doesnt fancy a ride around Rutland Water again) Chinese and the Peaks sounds good to me.

I thought Alan could lead us on a ride round Rutland water on Sunday morning. It would be on your way home to Hull.
