TT 2007 Ferry Crossings

Post by Rossy1100S »

I'm probably behind everyone else, but if you're thinking of booking with the Isle of Man Steam Packet ferry between Heysham or Liverpool to Douglas, for the "middle" week of the 2007 TT, it's apparently fully booked!

They are operating a £20/€30 non refundable provisional booking facility and there doesn't appear to be any avaialbilty from the 29th May onwards, unless it's me who can't work the system properly.

I expected it to be very busy for next year, but thought i was in good time.

Anyone else had a similar experience?

There hasn't been any availability since january this year,it gets even worse!!! hotels will only take a minimum booking,i know someone who booked in march(for 07) and they wanted 100 pounds a night and you had to book ten days!!

I've never been to the TT before and me and a few mates were looking forward to going. Wasn't really worried about hotels as we were going to camp anyway, but it looks like that ideas knackered for next year.

There is still availability as foot passengers, but what's the point of that as you can't get around the place and ride the island.

There was still availability if you go before the peak days last time I looked. We booked hotel/ferry in January and still had to mess about with arrival and departure times - it's only because it's the 100th Anniversary.
