Been travelling this stretch several times a week since it opened - occasionally see a flash. Rumour has it that the cameras go off at 90mph when it's the normal limit.
Yep, seen them flash a few times when travelling along there to/from Leatherhead. Wasn't aware of them for a couple of weeks when I first went down, but don't tend to travel that far above the limit anyway. Slowed down when I saw them flashing. My boss has seen them flash cars passing him at little over the limit - and he says he drives to the GPS on the car which is more accurate than the TT's speedo.
Most of the time you can see whether they are on the gantry or not by checking the cradle where they sit as you approach.
