More Guzzi porn...
I dunno about the MGS being made road-legal? I heard the OHC motor isn't Euro3 compliant (which is why it ain't in the Griso) and therefore the MGS is just for the track.
Still one of the most orgasmically beautiful bikes though.

I thought they were going to make it compliant or put a compliant motor in? Can't be too difficult to do can it?

There's one for sale at the mo (in MCN i think?) for a cool 13K!! Apparently only 50 were made??
I'd love one.Failing that a Ghezzi Brain would be very acceptable

Now I agree that this one looks just right in red.
This time with a bellypan and .....

.... an HPE exhaust.

Got to be red. The only decision is what number to put on the white patch.

Love it,want it,need it?
I,ve always had a soft spot for the ghezzi brians too.
What is it with me and quirky oddball bikes?
Am i a mentalist?
Would the beauty be ruined with road hardware
though?
Wish i had children to sell to fund a sale.

You and me both Gus (and many others no doubt).
I think having a deep-seated sense of irony when choosing motorcyles is never a bad thing. Why follow the crowd?

The other thing that really puts me off at the moment with all things Piaggo based is there seems to be a degree of uncertainty in the future of their brands.
The USA Aprilia operation is in big doo doo;having spent the past 6 months revamping and moving the complete spares/import/sales dept, after being in operation for 2 weeks it has been shut down again for an unknown period due to the fact that the new system didn't work!! What does that tell you about the Piaggo organisation?!
If I mentioned the Aprilia RS3 Cube and then mentioned the much spoken about Moto Guzzi water-cooled engine that never appeared......it all looks a bit black!
One thing I did admire about Aprilia/Ivan Beggio was the he was ambitious and always striving to embrace the future. But look where it got him

I agree Bailey - it is somewhat worrying. Although you'd think a firm like Piaggio has been making its millions (many times over) by doing
something right?
As someone said the other day to me, Guzzi have been going bust since 1921, so nothing new there.
Looking at Corsa's Breva 11 the other week I was certainly impressed by how well it's screwed together and finished. It'd done itro 9000 miles, mostly over the winter (and we know how workshop hacks just get thrashed/never cleaned etc) and still looked very smart, with only a little discolouring on the downpipes.
It could be famous last words, but I really do hope Guzzi are now on the start of a major upturn in fortune. With companies like Honda sucking the last ounce of character and flair out of motorycles, it's great that firms like Guzzi still exist to keep the balance.

Hmmm...but where would the pillion and/or throwovers go? I ghought that was part of the argument about the 'user frienliness' of the 11 that the 12 was losing?
