Air intake Q

OK, anyone know the purpose of the air intake under the nearside (UK, obviously) indicator pod? :scratch: It certainly don't connect to anything useful. Did the factory change their mind about the airbox intake or what?

I,d say it was to provide cool air for the alternator and motronic set up under the tank.

No,you're right.The original design had the intake routed through the petrol tank.For obvious reasons they changed the design!
