I seem to have an intermittment idea of how fast I'm going... was out for a spin on Saturday over to Heine Gericke and the speedo stopped working... and then started and then stopped... well you get the idea.
I'm assuming that this could be indicative of an electrical problem, the bikes two weeks out of warranty but Vines are going to take it in anyway next week and look at it as a goodwill gesture. They've suggested that it's probably the sender unit off the rear wheel... if they recently replaced the whole rear subframe and hangers could the sender unit or wiring have become damaged?

This is quite a common fault, and usually involves the loss of the signal through the connector under rh rear fairing cos the wire is bent back on itself - mine is now split and taped together (just the yellow cable) avoiding the connector and all is well againLightrunner wrote:I seem to have an intermittment idea of how fast I'm going... was out for a spin on Saturday over to Heine Gericke and the speedo stopped working... and then started and then stopped... well you get the idea.
