Hi all. I am after a set of shocks for my every day ride. Has anyone had any experience of the above shocks. I do not want to spend a lot of money but want a good pair that will last. I have ohlins on my original 1100s but they are way ok of my budget :) any feedback would be great.

No experience of YSS, but had you thought of getting your originals fully rebuilt and reworked to your requirements? There's a guy over on UKGSer, username Denz0 (Luke) who does them - they come back looking like new, re-valved and with new springs to suit your weight/riding. He's done loads, I've had 2 sets done with him - can't recommend him enough, and I'd contend that you'd get better results than with off-the-shelf units too.

+1 for Denz0, great service, had front & rear units serviced, upgraded springs & set for weight etc and lowered for less than a new shock would have cost.

Great info thanks. I haven't thought of that route. I will give this some thought. Thanks
