Post by Rimotu66 »

The log book and .GOV have the 1100S I am looking at as a 1130cc engine yet on the MCE insurance it is recorded as a 1085cc, any ideas guys please, trying to insure this bike is starting to boil my pee. C, Nash want £300+, I am 53 years old, licence since 1987, no points, 3 years ncd and kept in a garage.

There's been a debate about this for almost as long as there have been 1100S's.

See this recent thread viewtopic.php?f=4&t=23994

Hope this helps.

Log book rules. OK.
Fiat Panda.
Fiat Scudo (with speedblock, pipe carrier, reversing sensors, reversing camera, tow bar, some new rust and Fake Plumber logo)

started out with nothing, still have most of it left.

Thanks Ian, I have commented on there now, am just concerned that any future insurance claim could be refused because of a typo, we all know how insurance parasites will use anything to wriggle out of paying.
