Somewhere in Crossgates.
K1 and 1150R.
Both bikes are really good at covering ground quickly.

In a fifty mile race I am the best, I ride five miles and skid the rest.

Ah, that'll be at the cafe behind the Crossgates garage then - a regular stopping off point.

Yes. Petrol, tea, toilet, what more could you want?!
Admittedly midweek but surprisingly few bikes there, considering the weather was pretty good.

Our Club from the Essex coast loves the Road from Crossgates to Newtown. (and back) :D
There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity

My personal favourite is the Steel Horse cafe near Raglan.

Far friendlier , and in my opinion better value for money .

OK , no petrol , big deal , you have Abergaveny 5 miles down the road .

Here is a short video from the ride :-

Regards,

It started badly, it tailed off a little in the middle and the less said about the end the better, but apart from that it was excellent.
