Supermoons

Post by GRAgusta »

Thought I would kick off a supermoon thread, mine is more scientific than arty.

I got up at 430 this morning for this cloudless view.

Lovely shot, only chance I'll have of seeing it as there's that much fog here I can barely see down the end of the drive

Open a free account with Photobucket or such like, upload the photo to Photobucket. Then copy paste your image URL in the Boxertrix post.

Then we'll all share your photographic highlight. :D

Posting images

So assuming your using a Windows PC and have an image on the desktop that you want to post

goto

http://tinypic.com/

and use the "Browse" to find and upload your image to their site (you may have to enter a "security" question

Once uploaded you'll be be presented with 4 option boxes in yellow with black text.

Image

The one that has IMG encased in square brackets is the one you need, copy it so that it contains the open IMG and the close /IMG

[ IMG ]http://i58.tinypic.com/2w23fuo.jpg[/ IMG ]

(note spaces have been added at the IMG's so as to "disable" it so that you can see the code

this will, when posted create the image

Image

Hope that helps

Not a super moon pic but one I took with my mobile phone the other evening, I noticed a bright "star" at about the 5 o'clock position from the moon, and on checking the starchart app on my phone it turns out it was Venus. On the pic it's not show as bright which makes it show better to be honest
