I'm reluctantly selling my 2007 R12S due to an old injury playing up.
Red / Silver 'Colgate', ABS, Factory heated grips, 6" rear wheel, full Remus system front to back, WP rear shock, carbon hugger, tinted screen, cylinder guards, paddock stands. (standard pipe & screen included)
Tyres are almost new, 20700 miles on the clock, excellent service history & HPI clear.
I need to get as close to £5k as I can for it.
I'm based in North Bristol, close to the M4 / M5 interchange.
You can view it almost anytime, PM me or call Dave on 07941 950266. If you send me an email address I can send pictures.

I've also got an LSL high bar kit still in the box that I'll advertise separately!

My favourite (factory) colour and at a good price - If I'd got rid of my Boxercup I would have been tempted myself to keep the black one company. Good luck with the sale

Looks like a nicely specced bike for the money. Good luck with the sale!

Anyway.....Simoto CBX, do you still have it? Yellow and blue from the PB build in the late eighties early nineties?

Sorry to hijack, I'll start another thread if you like but if it's the bike I am thinking of, it's one of my all time favourite specials. I almost bought it in 1995 when it was for sale at Alexandra Palace. Didn't quite have the resources to go for it at the time so common sense prevailed. I was thinking about this bike just a couple of weeks ago and posted about it on another forum!

Yes Jim, that's the bike!
Back page of Performance Bikes, August 1989, to be precise! (still have my original copy!!)

It was 'borrowed' by Rupert Paul of Classic Bike as a magazine project. It was updated with 955 Daytona forks / brakes, Bespoke Nitron shock & CBR wheels then ridden in the Festival of 1000 Bikes. The bodywork is decidedly tatty though.
I bought it almost exactly 3 years ago off the original builder, Simon Martin, when he worked for CRC in Wembley. The frame is a work of art but it is VERY small, like a 400 really & a bit small for me. I've toyed with the idea of selling but that means I'd have to extract it from the back of the store!

I remember this being more than just a back page special. I remember a series of articles covering the key parts of the build. Frame, swing arm etc. If I recall, the tank was particularly problematic.

I saw the bike for sale at the ally pally, pretty sure it was up for £4K. This would have been 1995. I was so close to buying it, but I'd only just started my first job. I could have afforded it (at a stretch), but it would have blown my plans for the summer.
