Wanted... Aftermarket headers for my R1200S

Post by Stanley »

As per the title really,

I'd like to get a nice set of downpipes / headers for my 1200S. I already have the BMW/Akrapovic silencer.

Would also consider a full system.

Many thanks

Remus de cat headers are still available new. Akrapovic are rocker horse poo and it needs a different link pipe as there is no cat. I Think the remus de cat pipe will fit the standard length end can

i have a brand new set in their box made by Bos which have never been fitted. I keep thinking of letting them go but usually decide to keep them as i wont probably get hold of another set! I could send you a picture to see if they are something you may want ?

im pretty sure they would as they terminate in the same place behind the rear bracket. I have a standard silencer and link pipe so i will be able to check diameter is the same - i cant see any reason they would make them not to be able to be used with a standard rear set up. i think i have a copy of the information sheet - ill see if i can find it

This is a thread showing the system

Hi,

I'm still looking for a set of headers. Must be in good condition, and I'd prefer those that follow the original shape.
Would consider others also though.

Cheers
