1200S exhaust gasket

Post by scottie58 »

I need one exhaust gasket for cylinder head to down pipe joint (blowing slightly) - result of my rebuild polishing session!

Tried Sherlock - supplied ones too small O/D diameter. Motorworks & Motobins also no good.

I assume main dealer time?

i bought oem , and actually found them a tad too large to seat easily ,,,, so , as i had an old dented set of headers , i cut off the first two inches of pipe , and use it and the flange to semi seat the gaskets first ,,, makes fitting headers very easy ,,, i also used vw beetle exhaust bolts , they are brass ,,, just like good old cars , so no galling problems ,,, not really an answer , but just my findings
its not a boxer , its a 180 degree v-twin
