GS LC bits and pieces

Post by ianc53 »

Hi all

Now that the GS has gone there are several bits and pieces, or should I say experience enhancing after market add ons, I would like to sell.

Now for the confession, despite trying for several hours I cannot load any photos. I'm really pi55ed off as I've always been able to do it in the past, don't know what is going on :? . The images are too large for direct loading apparently and doing it via Photobucket, which I've always done in the past, isn't working either. Anyway I've spent enough time on this, I'll try again tomorrow but if anyone is interested in any of the items send me a message and I can send you some photos.

Cymarc R1200GS LC Crud catcher touring version NOW SOLD

This piece of stainless steel, hand crafted in Lincolnshire (that's what the guy says anyway), does a great job at protecting the front of the engine from the grit blasting from the front wheel. I've even polished it front and back so it nearly as good as new. New price from Nippy Norman is £66, I'd like £30 plus £3 for p&P please.

Cymarc R1200GS LC Digital Display Anti-theft brace NOW SOLD

Apparently the instrument cluster on the LC is secured by a couple of spring clips and there was a spate of thefts. This brace makes it impossible to get to the spring clips. After 4 years the instrument cluster was still there when I sold the bike so I suppose it worked, although the bike didn't spend too many nights in BMW digital display high theft areas. New price from NN is £45, I'd like £20 plus £3 for p&p please.

MachineArt Mudsling NOW SOLD

Does a great job at keeping muck from the rear wheel off you, the rear shock and various other parts of the bike. Even comes with zip ties. £142 from NN, this one is in very good condition and costs £70, plus £3 p&p.

Touratech Headlight Protector (clear) NOW SOLD

Bought this when I read the LED headlight cost £900 to replace. Complete with instructions and fittings, it's in very good condition. You can actually unclip the perspex guard from the mount without tools so it makes cleaning really easy. Photo is not too good, difficult to photograph transparent things, but you can also see it on the NN website (part: TAT-045-5090), where it costs £99. I'd like £47 plus £3 p&p please.

Wunderlich Marathon Ergo screen (clear)

This larger screen makes a real difference. similar in size the the Adventure screen it really does allow you to keep out of the worst of the weather. It also reduced pillion buffeting significantly. In very good condition with instructions, again difficult to get a good photo. There is one on the NN site (Part: WUN-42710-201), it's the Mk2 but very similar to this one. Price there is £135, I'd like £67 plus £5 p&p.

Triboseat non-slip pillion seat cover

As its name implies a non-slip cover for the pillion seat. Really does work and easy to fit. In very good condition. Cost £12.99, selling for £5 plus £2 p&p.

Really sorry about lack of photos.

Cheers

Ian
