Another Newby

Post by Orthodoc »

Hello everyone.
Having been a long-time "lurke" who has benefited from the forum, I think it only right that I register and hopefully contribute. I have a 2001 grey R1100S from new which has racked up only 26,000 miles due to my clinical commitments . Generally very happy with it and it is mostly stock, however I wish it weighed 20kg less ! My day to day work involves working with titanium alloy in the form of orthopaedic implants, sadly many end up in fellow motorcyclists

Welcome on board! Glad you finally made it despite the obstacles I put in your way  Hopefully we might see you at one of our Boxertrix weekends, but not in your professional capacity!

All the best,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Welcome 'doc'. With the age of some of us on this forum, if you do hip replacements you could make quite a few quid.

Welcome ! Substituting every nut and bolt with Titanium could help you with that...

Are these two comments related? [smilie=hmm.gif]
